The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the Trump administration must facilitate the return of an illegal immigrant who was mistakenly deported to an El Salvador mega prison.

In an unsigned order, the court required the government to “facilitate” the release of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from custody in El Salvador and ensure that his case “is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador.” No dissenting opinions were noted.
