Grilled Sockeye Salmon (Recipe)

Dinner will be ready in a few minutes! This delicious recipe is stress-free and simple. But that’s not all—it’s healthy, too! Salmon is rich in iron and heart-healthy omega-3s.

Ingredients

  • 1 Alaskan wild-caught sockeye salmon filet
  • Olive oil
  • Celtic sea salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to 450 F.
  2. Cut the filet into three or four portions.
  3. Generously coat both sides of the salmon with oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grill with the skin side down over direct heat with the lid down.
  5. Grill for five to seven minutes till the salmon is firm and lighter in color.
  6. Flip the salmon over and grill with the lid closed for one to three minutes until it reaches 140 F for medium doneness.
  7. Remove from the grill and allow to rest on a platter for several minutes.
  8. Remove the skin and squeeze fresh lemon juice over each portion.
