The United States is currently winning the AI race, Trump said, but giving China advanced chips will provide it with ‘an equal advantage’ in the competition.
As part of the trade deal, Washington says Beijing will also take ‘appropriate measures to ensure the resumption of trade from Nexperia’s facilities in China.’
The U.S. president made the threat a day after he said he will designate Nigeria a country of concern under the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act.
