One of the most popular region of Namibia and by far of the the most "Instagramable" is Deadvlei in Sossusvlei located inside the Namib-Naukluft Park. But if you want to witness one of the most epic sunrise in the world, you have to wake up early and at the right place!
Only people sleeping within the Namib-Naukluft Park can get early access to Deadvlei and this is why we decided to stay at Sesriem Oshana Campsites. For everyone else, the gate opens at sunset but that is too late and trust us, you do not want to miss this magical event. After racing to Deadvlei, we made it!
But before arriving in Sossusvlei from Windhoek, we did a quick stop at Moose McGregor's Bakery for a slice of their world famous apple pie. Somehow, no one seemed to know what made it so famous...
