I will go to him with anything from job advice to relationship advice and he will have the answer.” In return, Brooke’s warmth and energy brought joy to Tom’s days, earning her the endearing nickname “his angel.”

Their bond extends beyond just the two of them. Brooke’s fiancé, Patrick Daly, 55, has also embraced Tom as a friend, and the trio has spent holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas together, creating new traditions filled with laughter and love. “There is never an awkward moment when we are not speaking to each other,” Brooke says. “We are always chatting and my fiancé is great friends with him too.”

“I love hearing his stories—I learn so much from him,” she adds.
