America Desperate for Skilled Construction Workers
The nation’s builders have been increasingly burdened by a distinct lack of skilled construction workers.
According to the National Association of Home Builder’s economic outlook, the average annual number of occupational openings in construction totals approximately 723,000 a year. Any increase in available workers will depend on the available education and, more importantly, the younger generation’s interest in filling the gap for retiring specialty contractors.
