The Harris Momentum

Democrats who gathered for the first day of the Democratic National Convention told The Epoch Times they'd seen renewed energy among the party since President Joe Biden withdrew from the race, even as they looked forward to hearing him address the convention on Monday evening.

Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in the Windy City fresh off a week of touring battleground states that attracted rally crowds of up to 15,000. Her surprise appearance on stage during the first day of the convention had the crowd buzzing with excitement.

Roy Cooper told reporters on Monday. “We’ve made it easier now with Vice President Harris at the top of the ticket.” Read the full story here›

The researchers looked at donor cells and found that they produced a robust insulin response to carbohydrates. At the same time, approximately 9 percent of donor cells had an insulin-triggering response to proteins, and another 8 percent of the cells had more of an insulin response to fats than the other nutrients, including glucose, according to the results published in Cell Metabolism.
