Hidden away in a pretty Belgian town is an extraordinarily beautiful and curious clock tower. I applaud the observations made in this article. It seems that parents fear that their children need to have toys and hand-held devices to avoid boredom. Baby-boomers, I believe, are more creative because of boredom. I recall that without an abundance of toys we had to create our own distractions. Playing with pots and pans was a great diversion without toys.
